Yesterday was the fantastic Glasgow Craft Mafia market at Invercottage, in a beautiful setting on Loch Fyne. I had an early start catching the ferry from Gourock across to Dunoon, quite a novelty catching a ferry to a craft market! Felt like a travelling saleswoman with my little case packed with my products. Thankfully it was a beautiful day, smooth crossing but bitterly cold once got onto the water. I met the lovely Jean from
the Rainbow Effect who gave me a lift and then it was off to Invercottage, a very scenic route along Argyll's countryside. The rising mist was very eerie yet amazing especially on the Loch as the water was like a mirror and then the gorgeous autumn colours of the surrounding trees, a photographer's dream!

Invercottage restaurant, shop and coffee house was such a lovely setting, looking out across to a castle ruins and there were even a few, we were debating where brave or dumb, kids swimming in the Loch! Lots of people came out to see the Craft Mafia event aswell as Invercottage being a popular spot for its' amazing food, so the market was very successful. You can see more photos

Perhaps because all the stalls showed high quality products, nicely packaged and presented in interesting ways, it was a nice change to stereotypical craft markets. I caught the ferry back to Gourock, feeling very happy as the light turned from twilight to evening.
